THIRD GRADE GT RESEARCH PROJECTS FOR THE ASTRONOMY UNIT

I'm very proud of my third graders and their astronomy research reports. Each student followed a 5 paragraph format for their research papers along with a poster, captions, construction of a 3-D model, and a question and answer session after their presentations. This project took 12 weeks to complete. Great job!



OUR GT FIRST GRADE PROJECTS FOR THE ASTRONOMY UNIT

Students were required to write a factual paper, make a model of their planet, and to read their reports aloud.  We also made colony flags and mission badges. I'm proud of my first graders and their efforts to learn about a new subject in greater depth. This project took eleven weeks to complete.

A BOOK FROM ONE OF MY FIRST GRADERS

Josiah wrote this book outside of class just because he loves to write. That shows a lot of initiative and I like that!  He did a fine job!
NOTE: I'll be posting everyone's class projects by grade in the weeks to come. I'm still waiting for a few approval forms. Thanks.
