FIFTH GRADE ASTRONOMY RESEARCH PROJECTS

Our fifth graders are at the peak of their elementary research skills and can turn out some amazing products. For this unit, they researched some object or aspect of the Universe. They had to develop a series of questions on their topic and then answer them. They also completed a 3-D model or brought a visual aid for their presentations.
All work was completed in class and took about 12 weeks. Great job!  :0)

THIRD GRADE GT RESEARCH PROJECTS FOR THE ASTRONOMY UNIT

I'm very proud of my third graders and their astronomy research reports. Each student followed a 5 paragraph format for their research papers along with a poster, captions, construction of a 3-D model, and a question and answer session after their presentations. This project took 12 weeks to complete. Great job!
